Building Bridges: Partnering with Our Community for Lasting Impact
Total Management Systems Inc. appreciates our community and delights in giving back. Here are some examples of the charities we participate in.
Hilton Garden Inn in Gallup, NM works with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in support of our community’s youth. This property also employs men and women through Project SEARCH, an organization that helps people with developmental disabilities gain employment.
Springhill Suites in Albuquerque participates in the Save the Art Program, in which they donate art supplies to a local school’s art program. The hotel also participates in Roadrunner Food Bank through donations.
As a Hilton brand, Home2 Suites participates in the Clean the World Program, in which they recycle the used soap instead of throwing it away. The team also partners with Roadrunner Food Bank and Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity for volunteering opportunities.
Quality Inn & Suites Gallup is involved in Project Search and New Mexico Cancer Center. They also work with Children Youth and Family through donations, as well as Catholic Center in Gallup.
Courtyard participates in Marriott's Serve360 which empowers communities through corporate social responsibility. Huge part of this is being the hotel partner to New Mexico State University. Community engagement includes blood drive, fundraisers, planting trees, toy drive, and sponsorships.
As part of giving back to the community, we also want to give back to the environment.
All of our Hilton Hotels participate in the Clean the World Program in which hotel soap that would normally be thrown away, are recycled into new soap and given to impoverished countries.
All of our Marriott Properties have started using large dispenser bottles for soap and shampoo, rather than tiny bottles that are partially used and thrown away. This eliminates the wastage of plastic bottles into the environment. Bulk Dispensers are better for the environment and saves roughly 1,000 bottles for every hotel room.
In addition, we do we what we can to help the environment in all our hotels through hotel recycling programs, the use of energy efficient lighting, now some of our hotels are started to use solar power!
