ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., September 22, 2026 — Total Management Systems, Inc. (TMS) is pleased to announce that Prakash Sundaram, CHA, President & CEO, has been elected to the Visit Albuquerque Board of Directors, representing general business. He will also serve as an At-Large member of the organization’s Executive Committee.

Prakash was one of four new board members elected by Visit Albuquerque’s partners during the organization’s Annual Meeting on September 22. Nearly 500 industry leaders, partners and community members attended the meeting to review the performance of Albuquerque’s visitor economy and discuss priorities for the year ahead.

Prakash brings more than three decades of experience in hospitality, hotel development and business leadership. Since joining TMS in 1992, he has helped guide the company’s growth, overseeing investor relationships, joint ventures and hotel development. TMS operates hotels across New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado.

Prakash has served as president of the Gallup Hotel Motel Association and as a board member of the Gallup Convention and Visitors Bureau. He currently serves as board chair of the New Mexico Chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (CREDA).

His new roles offer an opportunity to bring that experience to Visit Albuquerque’s work attracting visitors, meetings and events to the city. They also connect the practical perspective of a hotel owner and operator with broader discussions about Albuquerque’s growth as a destination.

The announcement comes as Visit Albuquerque reports 11.9 million overnight and day visitors and $2.8 billion in visitor spending during the last calendar year.
