Albuquerque, NM, March 29, 2023 -Total Management Systems, Inc. (TMS) announced Yahima Hernandez as General Manager for Element by Westin Uptown Albuquerque, while being the Director of Operations. Yahima, as part of the opening team, will oversee day-to-day hotel operations and will assist the Regional Director of Operations, Ruben Abeyta, in maximizing efforts on enhancing operational efficiency, increasing guest satisfaction, and leadership development.
Yahima brings in over 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Her career began in the country of Cuba at the Nacional de Cuba hotel and has been with Total Management Systems since 2014. Currently, she is the General Manager at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Downtown/Albuquerque and Director of Operations for Total Management Systems since August 2021. She will continue to provide support to the incoming General Manager during the transition. Element by Westin Uptown Albuquerque is under construction with the anticipated opening date around October 2023.
